LEAP puts stamp of approval on 100th birthday celebrations

 

LEAP staff help client celebrate 100th birthday with special stamp presentation

 

LEAP volunteer co-ordinator Iain English helped Thomas Small, one of his clients celebrate his 100th birthday on 28th September.

 

Being a fellow philatelist, Iain made up a presentation of an issue set of King George V stamps (1912-24), which would have been in circulation at the time of Thomas’ birth in 1923.

 

Thomas was delighted with the presentation saying: “This is lovely, and a really thoughtful gift.”
