Dementia Services

LEAP can now offer new services to people living with dementia
and their carers.

​

The services are now available to people in Cambuslang,
Rutherglen and Blantyre, and East Kilbride.

​

In Cambuslang, we offer a Wednesday Lunch Club every first and
third Wednesday of the month in Clydeford view sheltered
housing between 12 Noon and 2.00 pm. This club is open to
people from Cambuslang, Rutherglen and Blantyre, but is currently
full, with a waiting list.

​

People in East Kilbride can take part in up to three activities - a
Lunch Club, Memory Lane Coffee Morning and Music for the Mind.

We need volunteers in East Kilbride

​

We are still looking to secure premises for our lunch club but you
can register your interest in this by calling us on 0141 641 5169.

​

The Coffee Mornings start on Wednesday 28 August and then take
place every fourth Tuesday of the month in the Village Centre, 12
Maxwell Drive, East Kilbride between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm.

​

Our music group - Music for the Mind - starts on Friday 16 August
and then takes place every first and third Friday of the month in
the Healthy and Active Hub, 300 Cornwall Street (beside Odeon
Luxe cinema) form 10.30 am to 11.30 am.

 

Everyone is welcome at our coffee mornings but booking is needed

for the music group.
