More than 40 volunteers and staff took part in LEAP’s Volunteers' Week thank you event in Cambuslang Institute last week.
After a buffet lunch, everyone took part in games such as tin can alley, hoops, photo booth, hook-a-duck, noughts and crosses, giant Jenga, new age kurling and foam bowls.
Kat Hannon, LEAP’s volunteer development officer for Rutherglen and Cambuslang, said: “It was great to have some of our volunteers back together for our first Volunteer Week event post-covid.
“Everyone had a great time, not just with the lunch and games, but also having the opportunity to get to chat to other volunteers they hadn’t seen in a long time.”
Kevin Key, LEAP’s volunteer handyperson co-ordinator added: “From a personal point of view, it was great seeing everyone together again and enjoying themselves.”
